Livstycket is a non-profit association – for solidarity, creativity, pleasure and knowledge. For many years now Livstycket has run a design and knowledge centre in Tensta Centrum. The association’s objectives are to improve the conditions for immigrants and refugees in Sweden by offering them education, work training and creative activities.

In essence, the operations aim to help all the participants to gain access to working life in Sweden and, to do the best of their abilities, support themselves and be active participants in the community. The activities are intended for both women and men, younger and older, with varying ethnic backgrounds and living primarily in the northern suburbs of Stockholm.
